This is an African-led global collective that aims to end FGM. The website is a social platform used to bring people and voices together to accelerate change.
FORWARD is an English based charity that works to safeguard women from FGM through education, awareness and training for affected communities.
Equality Now aims to achieve legal and systemic change addressing violence and discrimination against women/girls and has been at the forefront of efforts to end FGM, pushing for laws that protect girls and criminalize the practice of FGM.
GLOBAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN
Global Media campaign trains activists, leaders and journalists on how to use media to help end FGM through broadcasting to their own communities.
28 TOO MANY
28 Too Many undertakes research and provides knowledge and tools to organisations and individuals working to end FGM in Africa and across the diaspora. They have an extensive online research/resource library.
END FGM (EUROPEAN NETWORK)
A European umbrella network that aims to ensure sustainable European action to end FGM through policy monitoring, legal restrictions, building bridges, campaigns and supporting communities.
DESERT FLOWER FOUNDATION
A Europe based foundation that provides information about FGM to raise awareness and contribute to the eradication of FGM practices worldwide.
INTER-AFRICAN COMMITTEE ON TRADITIONAL PRACTICES (IAC)
The IAC is one of the largest pan African umbrella bodies working to prevent and eliminate against FGM internationally. Key areas of work include advocacy and sensitization, legal support and advocacy, working with excisors, survivor support, education and networking.
